Modeling small, low-powered rocket models and RC planes is a personal hobby of mine. However, this article is about entrepreneurship. Managing the dynamics of the rapid growth of start-ups is somewhat similar to the dynamics of forces exerted on an accelerating model. The stages of venture growth show well the challenging complexity of a rapidly maturing (or disappearing) organization.
