Synthetic data generation through multiphysics simulation tools

If we equip the metaverse with realistic #simulation capabilities, there will be new capabilities beyond the current research and design tools scope. Many components already exist. Sophisticated simulation tools combined with visualization modules are great. Data analytics applications and tools are growing.

As a simulation system programmer in #MELScript and #MAXScript user, I always looked for research tools capable of #multiphysics simulation. Maya and 3D Studio had impressive capabilities paired with enormously robust #rendering systems and external add-ons (e.g., #VRay)

Comsol is a tool that has many impressive features. For example, Comsol's probabilistic design methods, the Uncertainty Quantification Module, facilitate the production of more accurate and useful multiphysics models. In addition, the application areas are awe-inspiring and include #electromagnetics, #structural #mechanics, #acoustics, #fluid flow, #heat transfer, and chemical #engineering.

Sophisticated #simulation tools can potentially play a huge role in democratizing solutions to hard problems and converting solution pipelines to data analytics, e.g., problems in physical chemistry like random walks, single-file #diffusion, phase transitions, etc. Moreover, simulation tools in the hands of a physicist can produce synthetic data sets for deeper research insights with modeling tools. #heattransfer #dataanalytics #chemistry #fluiddynamics #heattransfer #syntheticdata #syntheticbiology #syntheticchemistry #probability #probabilisticmethods #3dstudiomax #maya #blender
