Finding a computational platform for autonomous vehicles is not a trivial question. Robust AI, connectivity, redundancy, and explainability need to be there, to name only a few. A while ago, I worked with Cognex environments to build autonomous articulated robotic arms for basic tasks. However, one of the major issues today is the sheer volume of data generated from sensors. Ideally, we want to use as much as possible, but it is not always possible. #Syntheticdata might be the answer. But unfortunately, according to some reports, even #Tesla cannot transmit and use any significant percentage of its data gathered by sensors. Anyway, Nvidia Drive is above everything I have tried so far.
