This is an environment with a super smooth surface in a warehouse. However, I can see this control system applied to many other tasks, e.g., construction automation. Is anybody experimenting with these systems in the desert or the arctic? How brittle is the automation when facing unexpected situations? Is there an AI planning system that can organize sequences of atomic steps to reach an objective?
