 I think that the term hyperautomation will be increasingly common because it is more general than AI-centric technologies that imply an information processing focus. Hyperautomation means that artificial intelligence will increasingly run #cyberphysical systems and “traditional” data-intensive business processes. We see this happening in manufacturing with the Industry4.0 and 5.0 concepts. We are entering an era of automation knowledge work in organizations that typically rely on human expertise. Discovery, #research, #analysis, #design, #measuring, or #monitoring are complex, but AI and ML can instigate a radical business change in narrow domains.
