The infrastructure for AI-centric autonomous transportation
Autonomous transportation or smart society will consist of several crucial technologies: high-performance edge computing, combined with cloud, and wireless technologies based on 5G and Wi-Fi to feed data and knowledge to AI algorithms. As we can see in the V2X (vehicle to everything) example, many concepts from IoT will apply. This technical discussion from Tokyo Tech on 5G concepts is one of the best articles I’ve read in a while.
