Brain Scans

Image Reconstruction From Brain Scans

Scientists from Japan used the stable diffusion algorithm to reconstruct visual images from MRI scan data. The first row shows images shown to human subjects. The second row is the brain scan processed with AI.

It is hard to disagree that reconstructing visual experiences from human brain activity is a way to understand how the brain stores information received through the eyes. However, we can have mixed feelings about the applications once the technology is perfected.

This is not the first research paper on brain scans or mind reading. Previously, Tom Mitchell's team and many others worked on this problem. One thing appears to be sure. Mind reading is here.
