Advanced algorithms and technical debt management
One of the less visible topics is software maintenance and tech-debt budgeting. The higher complexity of the digital ecosystem, the more complex the job of refactoring and updating the systems is. The authors discuss several examples of this less exciting area. I agree with the authors. Unfortunately, this is often a critical area that surfaces when it is too late, and any remedial action is expensive and painful. The authors present many case studies in #AI, #ML, #analytics, #cybersecurity, and system design.
