Robotics: mixed case palletization
#Palletization vs. bin-picking is a concept similar to the dichotomy between structured vs. unstructured data in computer science. Inevitably, vision systems and flexible palletization algorithms will bridge the gap between highly organized product placement and formless configurations. At the code level, however, some data structures will need to handle position information in several dimensions: most likely 3D for location and three dimensions for angles.
