I'm looking into the AWS Neuron SDK. The new hardware promises to achieve half the cost per inference compared to GPU-based systems. Not sure about the AWS Inferentia chips availability in the current microchip crisis. The increased flexibility feature is something worth trying. I see cloud computing as one of two main directions - the other is the NVIDIA-backed approaches to data science and AI.
