Toy problems and mathematical puzzles

 Many puzzles and toy problems can be used to expose weaknesses of algorithms or machine learning models. In computer science, it is often tricky to exhaustively audit the validity or accuracy of an algorithm. Paul #Erdős is one of the prolific mathematicians who contributed enormous value papers on number theory, graph theory, geometry, and many others. This fascinating grid puzzle is a conjecture that the number of distinct entries in either the sum or the product grid (or both) must be at least a particular value.
